Our Story
BUBORN Malibu is a luxury apparel
company conceived of, designed and developed in Malibu California. The literal meaning of BUBORN is “reborn in Malibu,” and relates to my rebirth from addiction and in God during my journey in recovery.
This journey led me to Malibu (the "BU"), where the natural beauty of Malibu’s beaches, mountains, sunrises and sunsets opened my eyes to God’s creation. Although nature provided its own sense of a spiritual life and God’s wonder, I sought a clearer understanding of God. My search for God became complete on July 31, 2019. Truth. Finally. Profound and unexpected. My life changed instantly on that day and I am eternally grateful. My life in God and my journey in recovery are strong. BUBORN is a celebration of what I have been given through grace and the precious gift of life.
Company and Products
BUBORN’s designs, natural materials and execution of designs spare no consideration on quality or creativity. We use 100% raw organic cottons, providing a "buttery" softness to the skin.All BUBORN products are UNISEX providing a modern fit that’s loose, comfortable and drapes well for a feeling of leisure and comfort. We are confident that the most discerning street wearer and fashionistas will adore our clothing.
Each BUBORN piece is hand designed through individual dying, printing, painting or graphic design processes so that no garment is identical to another. Our graphics use high quality natural pigments to provide a natural feel and long-lasting wearability. Any color, brush stroke, fading or graphic variations
are natural, adding to the charm and character of all BUBORN apparel. Every hoodie receives prayer and blessing, intended for all BUBORN wearers.
Mission
BUBORN’s mission is: (1) to create
beautiful, high-quality apparel that people never want to take off (I never do); (2) to bring awareness to the gift of life given to us from our Creator; and (3) to support causes and organizations that help others overcome addiction and those which are true to God.
